1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BirdDawg.shop ("BirdDawg," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform. BirdDawg is operated by Bird Dawg Ltd.

2. Use of the Platform

BirdDawg is an online marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of personal property. You may use BirdDawg to:

  • Browse and purchase items listed by other users
  • List items for sale
  • Get market valuations for personal property
  • Decode vehicle information and connect with service centers

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or complete transactions on BirdDawg.

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on BirdDawg, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful descriptions of all listed items
  • Only list items you own or have the legal right to sell
  • Not list prohibited, illegal, counterfeit, or stolen items
  • Honor accepted offers and complete transactions in good faith
  • Accurately represent the condition of all items

4. Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer on BirdDawg, you agree to:

  • Review item descriptions carefully before purchasing
  • Complete transactions for items you commit to purchasing
  • Use BirdDawg's provided payment and communication channels for all transactions
  • Report any fraudulent listings or suspicious activity

5. Fees and Commissions

BirdDawg charges the following fees on marketplace transactions: a $1 non-refundable listing fee per item charged before publishing; a 10% buyer fee added on top of the item price at checkout; a 10% seller fee deducted from the seller's payout; and a $5 flat shipping markup charged to the buyer on every transaction regardless of who pays for shipping. All funds are held in escrow by BirdDawg until delivery is confirmed, then released to the seller after a 24-hour dispute window. BirdDawg reserves the right to update fee structures with reasonable advance notice to users.

6. Prohibited Content

You may not list, sell, or promote:

  • Illegal goods or services
  • Counterfeit, pirated, or unauthorized replicas
  • Stolen property
  • Hazardous materials
  • Items that infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Any content that violates applicable law

7. Valuations and Market Data

BirdDawg provides item valuations for informational purposes only. Valuations are estimates based on market data and are not guarantees of sale price. BirdDawg is not responsible for any financial decisions made based on valuation results.

8. Limitation of Liability

BirdDawg acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of listed items. BirdDawg's liability to you for any claims arising from use of the platform is limited to the fees paid by you to BirdDawg in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

BirdDawg reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or otherwise harm the BirdDawg community. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of BirdDawg after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notice.
